I'm surprised Jaws isn't on the list considering it is usually pointed out as the film that kick-started the whole "summer blockbuster" craze. I would also probably replace Shrek with Toy Story. Great list - I really need to add Double Indemnity to my watch list.

These are not my favorite movie. That would be my top movie list. This one is movies that I consider to stand the test of time and have helped further the film medium. Of course, I've only included films that I've seen.
