Cameron Crowe's ambitious yet wildly unwieldy blend of science fiction, romance, and psychological suspense is not for everyone. I can't even say I enjoyed it but I was fascinated by it.

This is a awesome smart movie which keeps the viewer in suspense throughout until the conclusion. is he dead is he dreaming is he crazy what has he done what really happened ? the answers and twist is revealed at the end which gives a great dilemma and question of what would you do in that situation, . great acting by tom cruise and Penélope Cruz who is adrorable in this film. and also has one of the best lines in movies ( I think she's the saddest girl to ever to hold a martini ) .its a movie that makes you think and has romance at its heart .

This is a love it or hate it movie for most people, but I, for one, love it. There are a lot of buried nuances involving the nature of the waking and dreaming mind that Cameron Crowe buries in his film's music, dialgoue, and visual imagery. The film drags at the beginning, but the twisting conclusion is worth the wait.

I just could not get involved with this movie and found the whole thing boring.

An underrated film by Crowe. It is complex with many twists and turns. It takes a few viewings to finally realize what's happening.

Definitely one of the worst films of all time. Basically it's an opportunity for Cruz/Cruise to come together - being naked in every scene. Cameron Diaz's character was pretty much my favorite, but I still felt it was lacking. The story made no sense and it was a terrible remake. Cameron Crowe should have all directing powers stripped from him, but alas he made one good film, Almost Famous, so darn, we have to forgive him.

I can't believe people actually like this rambling, self-indulgent mess of a film. If you are going to make a long, drawn out one-trick pony, at least make it more fun. Snoozefest!

I tried to get into this film, but even I had a tough time keeping anything straight. Past, future, dreams, reality and vanity - lots of vanity. An interesting idea that should have been handled better.

For some reason people don't view this as a great film. I think it is awesome. A great cast, cruise at the top of his game, and directed really well. It is confusing at times, but in the end it comes together. Great film of the decade.
