A spin-off that didn't work at all. The Scorpion King is about a warrior captures the sorcerer in Egyptian times - showing us how the scorpion king became a legend. This is back when Dwayne Johnson wasn't such a good actor and it really shows his early mistakes. The set in this movie I thought was well done and the other cast did a fine job of what there got. They are some really big problems in this movie like the villain is so bland and boring, the characters are forgettable.

Dumb, lame spinoff of the Mummy series. I'm just glad the Rock was able to make better movies after this.

I was a moderate fan of the original "Mummy" film. The second one was OK and the Scorpion king was a pretty cool new addition. So you would think getting his own spin off movie would be awesome wouldn't you? Well, sadly this film is very underwhelming for anyone who was a fan of the character.

While I won't say it's on par with The Mummy movies, it is a fun bit of entertaining fluff. I much prefer The Rock in action roles than his more recent family-friendly fare - the guy needs to bust heads not babysit.

So bad I can't even think of one good thing about it. OK, one good thing -- The Rock has a really nice body.

I absolutely hated "The Rock" before seeing this movie. He can actually sort of kind of act. Not nearly as good as The Mummy movies, but it is an interesting piece to the puzzle.The plot and direction is terrible. For Mummy fans only.
