The humor is flat and deadpan, and the story is cobbled together out of ides for at least four other films.

It's unfortunate that there were so many star studded voice cameos and yet it lacked that certain spark to make it work. The idea of a talking bee dating a human is just too uneventful. Pace picks-up once Barry wanted to file a case against all humans. Jokes were pretty bland considering the main voice is one of the funniest comedians in decades. Overall, a pretty decent animation with lessons of the importance of your roles.

Not very good at all. But the animation is beautiful to look at and it has a interesting story. But the characters are mostly forgettable or just unlikable, like the main hero of the movie made some stupid choices that almost ended the world it self.

Animation is colorful and all but this was so stupid even by the lowest standards of Dreamworks. What motivated Jerry Seinfeld to make this movie? Who thought a courtroom drama about mother****ing BEES would be entertaining for children? My god, people! Use your heads! Make your kids watch Antz or A Bug's Life instead. At least those movies have a sense of humor and a brain!

Too much Seinfeld for my taste. Still a decent watch though

Although hinging on much of what makes adult laugh, "Bee Movie" was an epicly beautiful film, emerging through a regular horrorshow of obscure and often disappointing family entertainment. What makes "Bee Movie" so wonderful was how clever it was. Taking a pretty simple story and making it into a courtroom-themed comedy makes it seem like two completely separate films, but through its incredibly clever, witty, satirical writing, it seems to just work. Jerry Seinfeld is the perfect comedian to voice this sharp little insect, and the supporting voices all did their job in equipping the film with star-power and pizzazz.

Belief suspension aside, this animated film owes alot to Antz in its witty dialog and nods to more adult satirical topics. Not perfect, but better than expected.

I thought it was pretty funny. I love movies like this, with animals that act like humans.

This is a good animated movie for the younger set, but I don't think adults would get as much out of it. The animation is OK, the story is pretty good and the voice acting is decent - but nothing to rise above an average film.
