Less gruesome than the last two films, and leaning more towards the meta-humor and mystery elements. The humor is okay in parts though the celebrity cameos are out of control. Parker Posey is very funny as an actress impersonating Courtney Cox’s character.

Scream was rubbish. Scream 2 was even worse. Can you see a pattern emerging, here?

I have yet to see the fourth, but I have to imagine it has to be better than this entry, which took a too-corny Hollywood turn and the mystery just didn't feel fresh this time around. If you want to round out your Scream history, you may want to check it out, but be prepared to be underwhelmed.

Detective Mark Kincaid (Patrick Dempsey), Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) and Dewey Riley (David Arquette) try to help and protect Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell). Ghostface leaves a picture of Sidney's mother every time he kills using the script of Stab 3. Roman Bridger (Scott Foley) throws a party and the cast of the defunct Stab 3 one by one gets killed. Most of the deaths were predictable and done already. The first half of the film was slow, its story and pace only picks up during the party. Not as good as Scream 2, the horrifying scenes were weaker and humor were just in spurts.

Not nearly as scary or as smart as the first film. The "twist" conclusion where the killer is revealed shows that the series is really grasping at straws to find villains.

Not quite on par with the first two films. It's the weakest of the series, but it's still a clever, entertaining and fun ride.

Okay, Scream 3 was good, but not the best. It was the worst in the whole Scream series. I love all of the Scream movies, but this one was just not good. Kevin Williamson didn't write the script, but another person did. If Kevin Williamson wrote the script Scream 3 would have been a lot better, funnier, and gorier. Neve Campbell's character was barely in the film, which was not okay since she's the main heroine, and the actors that were casted were horrible, but overall, it was still okay.

This wasn't as good as the first, but I thought it was better then the second. I loved all the Scream films. I thought they were well done and I love the rvenge plot and I also liked how they had a scare sense in all of them. They were creepy. Great costume. I liked how the third one took place in Hollwood and it picked up and played with teh previous 2. I wish Cotton wouldn't have died though. Specially so early in the film.

By far the weakest in the trilogy, this movie does tie up all of the loose ends offered by the previous two films while at the same time telling its own unique story. The cast includes all the originals with many new and funny personalities. I loved this trilogy and am a little sad that its over.
