Great use of CG effects, but I had a hard time trying to find something fun here. Granted, the first movie wasn't engaging, but it was a little fun. Here the effects felt like the focal point and everything else was there just for the sake of it.

Some people hold the original up like some sort of holy relic of awesomeness - I thought it was kind of campy myself. This sequel works much better - you still have Jeff Bridges (two actually) and Garrett Hedlund does a decent job as his son. Great special effects, a pretty good story and hints of another to come - all in all, a good movie.

"TRON: Legacy" is an adventure,sci-fi film centers on Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) whose father is missing and in search of him, an adventure begins in a world where the creator himself is trapped. I expected so much on this film from that day I saw its trailer. The story was slow in progress and lame sound effects puts you on boredom, though visually appealing. Only Jeff Bridges had satisfying performance.

Saw it the day it came out. Don't regret ever going to see it at all. The adventure, the action, the colors EVERYTHING was just like wow.....wish i was apart of it. Should have seen it in 3D but it was full :( regret BUT as always it's a must see and determine for yourself what got me so excited.

A slow, overly-talky, and unnecessary sequel to the 1982 film. There are two highlights here - the pulsing score by Daft Punk and the entrancing visual effects. The rest is garbage. There is too much exposition in the dialogue that only serves to bore after a while. The plot is, at times, confusing and messy. The performances are all wooden and empty, except for a few lively moments by Jeff Bridges and a hammy turn by Michael Sheen.

The special effects were fantastic. Much improved but still in line with the original. They did a good job with young Jeff Bridges (usually I don't like computer generated people). The action was fun and the graphics good, but I feel that they could have done more with the plot. It just seemed a bit lacking. It was also a bit slower than it needed to be. But overall, I did like it.

Very impressed after being bombarded with a ton of negative reviews. Daft punk killed the score, all the actors brought their A games and the FX crew pulled out all the stops and delivered a real beauty. The plot was more satisfying and non-linear than the original, and was darker (a big plus). Some of the plot elements could have been better explained, but overall, the film was a real spectacle to behold and a must-see for sci fi fans in particular. A fun time and well worth the 3D price point.

While this movie is incredibly flawed, its still a solid film and one of the few 80s sequels that actually works.
