Cold Pursuit

This was a pleasant surprise. 15 minutes in and I was like "an action film with a Taken vibe". Then suddenly i sensed this comedic layer of the film that was awkward and a bit bland. But humor was consistent, enough for its direction to be really really interesting. Also, the use of title cards as plot device was really awesome. A character dies in like every 10 minutes and this kind of rhythm was sustained until ***SPOILER ALERT*** the cross fire in the end. A classic revenge-mistaken identity-lead-to-series-of-killings type of movie but with a smooth and subtle comedic punchlines in every scene.

I feel surviving the train accident unscathed is probably more unrealistic

The Dark Knight Rises Review comment

Well the Joker was more about playing mind games with Batman, while Bane was all about pain and destruction. And it wasn't even his plan...

The Avengers Review comment

Is it better or worse than Thor, that's a good question. I say it is better than Thor in terms of action, but worse in terms of the story, especially on the plot about Loki.

Watched this one yesterday and thought the rapport between Eisenberg and McBride was good and their security code too funny lol!

Albert Nobbs Review comment

The movie was much more than that. It was also how women were subjected to second or even third class citizen. Back in those times, it was very difficult to be a woman, so a lot of women went through extreme in trying to survive. I thought Glen Close Character was very good, she played the same role on a Broadway play, I thought she was good, but I wasn't convince to see her as a man. She was too stiff, unnatural, not real, and I fell sorry for her character, and how she ended it up losing …
