Go see the film!
Choice is the only thing that will rejuvenate our schools. Over the last 30 years, we've spent over a trillion dollars extra and student test scores are flat. A government monopoly on public education and teacher tenure destroy poor kids' lives. Attach the money to the kids and let the schools innovate to out compete each other for the most students. This film is really powerful on the emotional argument, that real lives are destroyed by the status quo and is a call to action. The acting and characters are superb, and the seedy, morose cinematography is gripping. The soundtrack is also apposite and thrilling. It is surprisingly balanced and is in no way union bashing. They actually present the main arguments the unions give for no reform …

We made some major additions to the site. First, you now have the ability to connect your FilmCrave account with your Facebook account - a feature I highly recommend you activate. You can now instantly update your friends on your movie reviews, ratings and lists. The updates are limited and you have complete control over what gets posted. You can do that here.
