Mediocre Sequel Age Of Extinction is a mixed bag, First off the positives. it tries to change up the status quo with some new characters, The performances of Wahlberg, Tucci, and Grammer are good, The voice acting for the Autobots are very well done (John Goodman was hilarious as Hound), The soundtrack was great, Lockdown was a badass, Most of the visuals are fantastic, And half of the humor was decent. However, Age Of Extinction has a lot of problems that hinder the movie such as a bloated script, Half the humor is bad (Still not ROTF bad), Some visuals are iffy, The human characters are bland, And is WAY TOO LONG (165 minutes). Overall, Transformers: Age Of Extinction is a mixed bag that falls short. Rating: Rotten

Yet another Michael Bay fap fest, filled with his trademark stereotypes, awful humor, awful dialogue, and migraine inducing bombast. Some of the action sequences are indeed impressive, and the CGI effects are as seamless as ever. But the bloated runtime and juvenile filler, with barely a story to hold it all together, make it an obese, numbing, exhausting experience. (Rated PG13- contains prolonged sequences of intense action, destruction, mayhem, and scifi violence, some suggestive content, and language.)

Oh my god this movie was 3 hours long!!. The movie is about the government has decided to cut all ties with Autobots. They may be forgotten - but they are not gone - and a mechanic and his daughter discover one of the most powerful of the Autobots in their possession and it ignites a full-blown showdown between the Decepticons, Autobots and the government. This movie has terrible looking visual effect's and the characters are forgettable as always. The only good thing in this movie is Optimus prime and Mark Wahlberg, but anything else is crap.

i cant say i'm a fan of the transformer movies as such think i liked the first one but it was so corny. this movie is far better and much bigger and grand and has that evengers look and style to it. imark wahlberg stars in this one and brings to it a much needed real edge he is very convincing in his part .
i really enjoyed it. its a very long movie you get your moneys worth. much better than other big films like x men etc but maybe thats personal taste. while the talking robots can be corny and silly at times it makes up for that in action and style and great special effects.
as for the story. wahlberg plays a broke hopeless inventer who has a 17yr old daughter who looks acts like 23 and their place is about to be reposssed when he finds one of the autobot robot trucks and makes a …

Loud, Long and Dumb

I knew exactly what I was getting into with Transformers: Age of Extinction - I knew, because I have already subjected myself to the previous three Michael Bay action films. Despite an updated cast, Age of Extinction is exactly what I have come to know: big, loud, CGI overload, terrible dialogue, surface-level character development, more CGI and an ending that leaves the door open for yet another film.

There is an attempt to establish a story - after the events in the previous film, the Transformers - both Autobots and Decepticons - have been hunted down by the government - who is no longer interested in working together. Led by the CIA (Kelsey Grammer in rare villainous role) and a black ops unit called Cemetary Wind (headed by a stone cold Titus Welliver) the group hunts down all …

Looks like it's a formula for the Bayformers. Well, it rakes in the money for them.

that's an incredibly accurate description of what I experienced when I went and saw Transformers on Saturday. You know exactly what you're in for.

I have a feeling this is going to be just as bad as the last two - but I can't stop myself from going to see it. But Michael Bay is Michael Bay - and I know what I'm getting into - nearly three hours of mindless action, lots of CGI, bad dialogue and maybe 15 minutes that approaches something I'd actually want to watch. Otherwise known as the perfect summer movie. But I'll probably kick myself afterwards.

I've hated every Transformers movie to come out, but I'm about to go see the newest entry on opening day simply because I've seen nearly every other movie in the theaters around here.  Hopefully I'll be able to survive the nearly 3 hour run time.
