Taking the long list of buddy cop and cheesy alien movie tropes and turning them on their heads, "Men in Black" is a wacky bit of sci-fi spoofery.

A one joke movie that works because of the strength of the premise and chemistry between TLJ and Will Smith. Some great sight gags too.

The first Men in Black film is goofy and fun sci-fi film. Will Smith's charisma makes a lot of the comedy work and the film doesn't scimp on its impressive special effects either.

Super secret organization oversees outer space beings who are visiting or living on Earth. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are the Men in Black. Linda Fiorentino doing her straight face thing. Very enjoyable.

Like a lot of Will Smith movies, it was a tad bit over-hyped. But, I love the part where they find out where the galaxy is.

This is a funny, exciting, action-packed sci-fi. Smith and Jones make a great team. Thought it was funny how they make the goofy supermarket rags the newspapers that actually know what's going on in the alien world.
