This movie is about Six stupid friends heading to a football game decide to camp for the night only to be sidelined by car trouble the next day. The nearest town is home to two sadistic brothers who have turned the entire place into their own house of wax and are always looking to expand the business. This is one of those movies that it is so bad that it is so enjoyable, The story has been done before and The characters are annoying.

The slasher genre has been overdone and this variation doesn't enter new waters. There are some decent scares, but, mostly, the film is so "by the book" that even the supposedly shocking scenes aren't that shocking because we know when to expect them. You can spot the origin story of the killer a mile away, too.

Before you begin saying things, House Of Wax was a pretty decent remake. There have been worse remakes, but this is the ones that actually works, well that's my opinion. Elisha Cuthbert, an Chad Michael Murray's acting was amazing.... Paris Hilton's character shouldn't have been added, and that would have made the movie a lot better. House Of Wax, surprisingly has scary parts, and a lot of suspense. It was a real fun movie I enjoyed watching. The plot was okay, but the actors were pretty good, and this turned out to be a great remake.

A remake that takes the central idea of incasing people in wax and turns it into a slasher movie with tortured villains. Turns out to be just an average slasher.

Ok, I know I'm going to get massacred probably for the grade I gave it, and I will admit this film wasn't made too well and was no where near the quality that the original was, BUT I found this film to be fun and highly entertaining. If there was a night I just wanted to pop the film in and be entertained this would be the one I pick.

House of Wax is Entertaining and has surprisingly good acting from Chad Michael Murray and Paris Hilton who are the two stand outs of the film), with that said, this film does lack what a horror movie needs, scares and intensity. A slap in the face to the original.

Jaume was obviously high when he made this film. Hiring Paris hilton was not a bright idea because everyone hates her and that would drop the rating. The plot was stupid and didn't really make since, But along with Thewolf i did enjoy watching paris hilton die.

It's been said, but I concur the only reason to watch this otherwise drab and non-scary horror film is just so you can see Paris Hilton get what she deserves, a painful death. Yup, that's the only reason I can recommend this to anyone.

Paris Hilton gets killed gruesomely in this movie. That was the whole reason for me to see it. The film was a high budget version of Vincent Price's best work. I would never give this movie any respect simply because someone thought that Paris Hilton was a good enough actress to actually be in this movie. Again, the only reason to watch this movie is to see Paris Hilton die. If you want to see a good movie watch the original, if you want to see Paris get killed, then this movie is for you!
