Its truly a shame but in my opinion, Land Of The Dead was George Romeros last good zombie flick

Not full of noticeable flaws as in Romero's previous 'Diary of the Dead', but still not a better film. Another slow-paced traditional zombie outing for the director. The story is okay. The only problem is that the main ideas present have all been done in other movies. Lack of good characters and an overuse of bad CG makes this another disappointingly lame effort from the genre pioneer.
