Until "That's My Boy," Zohan was probably Sandler's most unlikable character. The movie is dim-witted, and just plain bad.

First, unlike just about every movie critic in the world, I like Adam Sandler. His movies are always stupid and are always very funny. Zohan is a zany and often halrious movie. A crazy concept, executed well. It made me laugh often. Thats enough for me.

I may have to rate this higher. As horrible as it is, I've watched it several times. I think it's the let's-all-get-along thing that attracts me.

Adam Sandler has made some of his fair share of decent (Mr. Deeds, Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, etc.) and good (Anger Management, Wedding Singer, Click, Just Go With it, etc.). Unfortunately, this film ranks lower than his previous bomb shells like The Waterboy and Little Nicky. A dumb plot, moronic accents and insignificant cameo’s are present. More things to loathe? The monotonous lines and gestures that he thinks made him cool and an idiotic scene where both of his feet beats up a character. So many forgettable characters, yes parts made me laugh. The essence of the film? The hummus? The dogs? The insane reference to his genitals? I felt this film tried too hard at everything. To be funny and have a lesson. At least in the end, he did what he always dreamed of as a kid, to …

Most professional critics hate Adam Sandler. They have hated every single movie he has been in and despite that, some of his movies have had huge cult followings and are loved by millions. Maybe those millions are all idiots? Who knows. Nevertheless, I think this time, the critics are 100 percent right about his latest movie, The Zohan. I've always seen Sandler's films as The Three Stooges like, totally idiotic but somehow irresistible and yes, funny. Not this time though. The Zohan is just too awful and even the biggest Sandler fans are going to have a very hard time liking this movie. It's bad in every possible way. The acting is horrible, Sandler talks with a stupid Middle Eastern accent the whole film. If you hated his Waterboy voice, that's nothing compared to this one. The …

Don't Mess with the Zohan... no seriously, don't - avoid this movie like the plague. Other than a few chuckles at the action sequences, there is nothing funny here. Not the story or cameos or hummus references or not hackey-cat or old ladies getting boinked or the bulge in Sandler's pants or saying the same phrases over and over again... not even the inclusion of The Jesus or the delectable Emmanuelle Chriqui can save this mess of a film.
I can only imagine a lot of people involved did this out of a favor or out of money. Adam Sandler has been funny in the past, heck, he's actually acted in the past (see Punch Drunk Love, even if I didn't really like it) but this is like a massive leap backwards for no discernible reason. He's lucky the Love Guru came out the same year, or I think …
