Don't Mess with this Movie... Period

Don't Mess with the Zohan... no seriously, don't - avoid this movie like the plague. Other than a few chuckles at the action sequences, there is nothing funny here. Not the story or cameos or hummus references or not hackey-cat or old ladies getting boinked or the bulge in Sandler's pants or saying the same phrases over and over again... not even the inclusion of The Jesus or the delectable Emmanuelle Chriqui can save this mess of a film.
I can only imagine a lot of people involved did this out of a favor or out of money. Adam Sandler has been funny in the past, heck, he's actually acted in the past (see Punch Drunk Love, even if I didn't really like it) but this is like a massive leap backwards for no discernible reason. He's lucky the Love Guru came out the same year, or I think this would have swept the Razzie Awards instead.
