By featuring a more action-oriented Disney princess, this film features some beautifully executed animated action sequences. It doesn't have the same magic as some of the other Disney animated films, but it's certainly a step above later entries.

A great Disney movie with a strong Disney woman as it's main character. Very good movie.

Mulan is probably the only competent female character in non-3D animation done by Disney. Interestingly they don't make the male lead a push over, but he's actually competent too. Its a nice change and makes Mulan a very enjoyable family film. The music for the movie is also pretty good.
