A cool Bad-ass zombie movie with such awesome and cool sense with the zombie kills and the humans kills as well.

It could have been sooo much better. So much better. Great story and premise; poor acting, worse writing! Still it is a great movie. One can only imagine that these fortresses are what the world would resort to once the battle against the dead is lost. And the social class system would still reign and persecute the lower class.

Just when you think Romero can't do any more with zombies, he brings us a story about obsession and post-apocalyptic control that presents some bold visuals and more social commentary. It isn't nearly as impactful as his previous work, but it is often terrifying and a bold visual step for the director into a more "modern" style of filmmaking.

Romero gives us more of what he does best... with the zombies. The human characters, on the other hand, are lacking and the story isn't all that interesting. But the man still delivers.

I love zombie movies more than any kind of movie, and even i thought this one was kinda weak.

An interesting concept that zombies can learn was introduced...but not in this movie. 28 Days did it much better, not to mention ALL the previous 'Dead' films. See this one to complete the series, but don't get excited.

The final dead film still takes on some big themes - haves vs. have-nots, but it seems like it's running on fumes. Even a crazy Dennis Hopper can't save this one from mediocrity.
