We rented this movie recently because I could barley rember watching it as a kid. Wow was I surprised with how good this was. It was visually stunning, the acting was great and the story was so much better then I remembered. If you haven;t seen this movie in a long time, or haven't seen it at all, I can't recommend more highly that you rent this movie and sit back and enjoy how wonderful it is.

Once again Tim Burton blows our minds with Danny Elfmens creepy soundtrack and abstract scenery. This movie was origanl, had a good plot and stuck to the point of the story. The director makes fun of suburban neighborhoods with all the husbands leaving and coming home at the same time and how the house wives gossip over things. A+ movie

True to Burton form, this is a dark and strange story but still endearing. Depp, as aways, creates a wonderful, lovable character in Edward. Dianne Wiest is so good as the mother who takes Edward in and tries to help him fit in. Ryder is the weak link in that she cannot act.

This is one of my all-time favourites and I watched it first when I was twelve. Despite being rated PG-13, I think that was the perfect age to watch the movie. The fairy-tale wonder of it stayed with me for a long time, till I watched it again at twenty and I fell in love with Edward all over again!

This Burton tale is actally moving in some parts and very clever and original. This makes the movie more exciting than his other movies, most of which were flops

A classic Burton/Depp Colaboration. It's a dark Fairy Tale that answers the question, where does snow come from?

I found in this movie one of those scores that I wish could be played live when something is happening. You know, like if the heaven opens and plays it for the momment. The film is stunning and has the usual amazing visuals by Burton. Great story, great acting. It doesn't goes down in any momment. My favorite Burton.

A classic Frankenstein tale with a new twist makes this the perfect film for both Depp and Burton. While rather flat in the details, the out site appears magical yet real. Depp's performance should not go unnoticed.

A modern-day fairytale with the heart and emotion to match the classics. The casting is perfect, with Johnny Depp portraying Edward with the perfect blend of naivet? and wonder. Despite some heavy themes, this is a great family film.

One of Johnny Depp's best roles. Everything about this movie was beautiful, and the score was one of Danny Elfman's most memorable.
