SNL characters become a launching pad for the immigrant experience. There are some light chuckles to be had. Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin both commit to the awkward strangeness of their roles. Movie production as a whole is interesting as a time capsule for the amount of comedic talent that show up.

This is one SNL sketch that should've been left on the show. The jokes get old real fast.

Another classic SNL sketch ruined by being brought to the big screen. While not quite as horrible as say It's Pat! this is still pretty bad. It has a few funny moments and the story is sweet, but overall it leaves me feeling empty.
