I enjoyed this slightly disjointed story. It was funny and entertaining. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was very compelling. The writing and cinematography was different, which is very refreshing if you watch a lot of movies. A very enjoyable.

This story was very well-written, very original, very artistic and yet very real life. Gordon-Levitt gets a standing ovation, he did an incredible job. While Deschanel tends to be type-casted as that quirky and unpredictable love interest she does it well. This film sends the romantic comedy genre in a very new direction. It was brilliantly done. My only problem is that it had very little comedy.

This movie was absolutely brilliant! A great and stupendous work of art, and that is what it is: ART. I loved this film. I can't get over it. I saw it several times in theaters and bought it the day it came out. The musical number in the middle of the film was inspired and I cannot believe that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was not nominated for best actor.

Very original and funny rom-com that I found to be completely relatable. It gives an honest look at the reality of a break up, from the point-of-view of the male who's been dumped by his once thought 'true love'. The writing is refreshingly un-cliche, the acting and directing are superb and the whole movie is simply enjoyable. I love it!

A smart script drives this romantic comedy, which explores 500 days in the relationship between Tom and Summer. Jumping in time throughout the relationship, you see how they met, what they experienced, and how things end up. There are some brilliant scenes here and the script never gets too eccentric for it's own good. Good cast as well.

I think this is a semi new take on romantic comedies. It is odd that it referenced The Graduate since it tries to be so similar. I still really like the dude from 3rd rock from the sun. A cute pic worth seeing - better than Adventureland.
