This movie was kind of confusing. It was really funny though in some parts, I just love Will Smith. :). and I hate little italian kids haha

By far the worst movie my husband and friends made me go see with them in the summer of 2008. I thought this movie was dumb and far fetching. I love Will Smith, but I have to question what he was thinking when he signed up to do this movie. Take out the 'stars' in this movie and you have a movie that is just a pile of crap....or wait this movie might just be a pile of crap as is.

The movie started off very good. Then it got sloppy. This might sound like a good idea on paper, but on screen it was dreadful. Wheres the story? Wheres the connection? Wheres the heart? Out of all the movies that I seen in 2008, this is one of the worst. Will Smith and Charlize Theron can find way better material than this.

Like everyone else I really enjoyed the first half of the movie. It got really stupid once you find out the connection between Smith and Theron. However, Will Smith just can't go wrong in any movie. He draws you into the screen no matter how bad the script or movie.

A profane, sloppily-written, often annoying superhero movie that takes the good it has going for it (a drunken, washed up immortal who is frowned upon for all the damage he does while saving people) and wrings it through the Hollywood grinder by adding fatal plot twists, needless villains, and a love story. There is remarkably little enjoyment to be found, and the performances are for the most part unlikable. Good visual effects do not make up for bad storytelling. Final Grade: D+

I feel like I watched two different movies. The first half had a good story, good character development, and was working pretty well. Then the "twist" comes that isn't such a surprise and the movie completely falls apart. I'm still trying to figure out the backstory of the characters because it wasn't really explained. Pretty disappointing, I'd expect better from Will Smith.

As a big Will Smith fan I was drawn to this movie. Believable CG, great acting, and an interesting plot kept me entertained through the whole thing. The ending was better than expected from a regular action movie. I would recommend this movie to any one of any age.

I was never gonna watch this movie, but once my friends began raving about it, I thought that I better see it. So I watched it, and I now scold my friends. It was just like I thought it would be, originally. The beginning of the movie dragged me into the plot, interesting me, but it then went downhill. I don't think the ending really was as bad as other people say, but it was a big step down from the beginning. The movie has some funny bits, without being slapstick or try hard comedy. I still scold my friends.
