ok so i liked this movie all the way up until the ending. the special effects were awesome and the action is really good. the story was also really interesting too until they pulled the "star wars cliche" seriously i understand that by putting that in it took the movie to a whole different level but come on ... it was so cheesy!

A completely brainless extravaganza in which the action consists of just about everything that defies logic (people leaping across buildings, bullets curved to perfection, time slowing down, etc.) It's entertaining and has a couple of neat plot twists, but it's hard to like it on anything other than a purely visceral bloodthirsty level. Final Grade: C+

There are many reasons why I think this is an excellent movie. I'll start with the plot. I think the plot is brilliant. The person who thought this up is obviously extrememly creative. Then when you add a pinch of James and a dash of Angelina you're bound to have something hot and sexy! Watch this, it's pretty effing awesome.

Wholly improbable action wrapped up in a frenetically paced, surprisingly humourous package. One of the most satisfying cinema-going experience I've had in a long time. Well worth checking out.

"Wanted" was perhaps one of the best action/adventure movies for the summer (not as amazing as "Dark Knight," but I digress). The charming cast and witty, intelligent (albeit vulgar) script was a pleasure to watch, not to mention all of the alarmingly amazing special effects reminiscent of "The Matrix" only mildly cooler. Angelina Jolie looks a bit undernourished but James McAvoy makes up for it by being in top physical condition (silly Brits playing American losers...haha). I found this to be pure entertainment. A joy to watch.

Here's an example of your basic, mindless, kill everyone in sight action film. The only thought required is to complete suspend disbelief for impossible stunts and laughable dialogue. As a film it's trash, as a summer popcorn flick it's genius.

Wanted wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, but it was a far cry from begin great. The plot was somewhat predictable, the acting was decent, and the effects were amazing. Its hard to write this movie off because of its flaws when the the effects make up for a lot of its misgivings. I definitely feel that there was a lot that could have been improved upon, but I gotta give it to the artists in this film that helped make the effects as they are what carried the film.

One of the best pure action movies I have seen in a long time - maybe the best since Equilibrium. This is my style of action where there is a purpose for no realism. Props to the main actors for pulling this one off. Downside: predictable.
