Regarding the Watch - I guess the cast tried to try their luck with a sci-fi comedy. Too bad they didn't review the screenplay. I'll wait for your review though once you've seen it.

Really good review. I agree, the visuals were great, if only there was more depth to the story behind that great devastation. And the characters could have been better developed - you said that perfectly, the girls seemed like they're in more for eye-candy.
I even somehow think that without Rekall part and those hints to the original movie, better said - with some script modifications, this could easily have been a stand-alone movie. But somebody on top probably thought the remake would sell …

Silent Films I Plan to Watch comment
Of the bunch, I enjoyed City Lights and The General. Haxan was scary for its time as well. The rest for me are worth seeing for its historical significance and influence. :-)

Thanks for the comments Chris---I enjoyed all the Bourne movies, but as much as I like Matt Damon, I feel like Jeremy Renner does a better job of being a bad a$$ :)

I felt the movie's message was heard loud and clear, while the dialogue and violence were shared in equal amounts. Bobcat's black sense of humor does strike my funny bone hard, at times.

Good review. Glad you enjoyed it. I was gonna see this, but decided to see The Dark Knight Rises in IMAX again, hahaha. I'll probably end up renting it.

Iron Sky is a real mixed bag. I hated the first act and some of it is embarrassing to say the least but there are flashes of brilliance too. I liked it better as it went (beer probably helped!) but there's definitely enough good bits to warrant a rental. I wouldn't buy it though!
