Cheesy technothriller which still has a solid turn by Sandra Bullock.

Journeyman thriller that sees Sandra Bullock victimized over the internet in a gimmicky identity theft plot device. Again, Sandra is nice to look at, but very little suspense or tension is generated during the proceedings. If you're insistent on seeing this type of film, Enemy Of The State is better.

This film was made in 1995, when the Internet was becoming a curiosity with people around the world. Sandra Bullock stars as Angela Bennett, a computer analyzer who lives and breathes computers. On vacation to Mexico, she loses everything that identifies her and quickly learns that all public accessible records on her have been changed to a new identity.

Now, she has to run from the people who are trying to killer her and get back the information she has that proves the conspiracy. Only close friends can help her, but they pay the ultimate price as she tries to regain her …
