Journeyman thriller that sees Sandra Bullock victimized over the internet in a gimmicky identity theft plot device. Again, Sandra is nice to look at, but very little suspense or tension is generated during the proceedings. If you're insistent on seeing this type of film, Enemy Of The State is better.

(spoilers) all i remember is Sandra Bullock ordering pizza through the 'net (back before you actually could) and her sleeping with the killer or bad guy and thinking the character was incredibly stupid! Of course the bad guy was Jeremy Northam so who could blame her really.

This film was made in 1995, when the Internet was becoming a curiosity with people around the world. Sandra Bullock stars as Angela Bennett, a computer analyzer who lives and breathes computers. "Angela" (Sandra Bullock) is a computer geek. She works and plays with computers on a daily basis.
One day, she comes across a computer program that proves the recent suicide of a high ranking official (Ken Howard) in the Pentagon was actually a set up to kill him. The man who sent her the program, which acted like a computer virus, is killed in an airplane crash, and her life is turned upside down.
On vacation to Mexico, she loses everything that identifies her and quickly learns that all public accessible records on her have been changed to a new identity.
Now, she has to run from the people who are trying to killer her and get back the information she has that proves the conspiracy. Only close friends can help her, but they pay the ultimate price as she tries to regain her …
