It's a definite step up from II and III, but "Jurassic World" lacks originality and authenticity.

In a land--no, a World! Good God the folks in this movie are infuriatingly incompitent. The sole voice of reason is Mr. Hot-bod-hansome-pants. Starlord saves the day, kisses the girl. Cheesy one-liner and they're litereally off into the sunset. I don't understand how this movie did so well. Big kudos to the cinematography and the CG/special effects. They're worth 2 stars, right? No? well, have em anyway for an old Crichton fan.

The best of the “Jurassic Park” sequels

On June 12, 2015, Colin Trevorrow took us back to the iconic island of Isla Nublar, but this time not to Jurassic Park, but to a fully realized Jurassic World.

In this fourth installment of the Jurassic Park franchise, Dr. Hammond’s original vision for Jurassic Park has come to fruition in the form of a fully functioning Disney World with dinosaurs. While the park controllers and scientists do manage to make Dr. Hammond’s vision a reality, they fail to learn from past mistakes, making an even larger one by creating a genetically modified killer known as the Indominus Rex. When the I. Rex escapes and wreaks havoc on the island, it’s up to velociraptor expert and trainer, Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) to take her down.

Simply put, this film is a blast. The dinosaurs look great, …

I remember as a kid, my parent taking me to see Jurassic Park.Everybody was raving so much about it, I just couldn't wait to see it.Watching it in the theater I was BORED out of mind.I remember squirming in my seat just waiting for it to be over. Now here comes...... Jurassic World. It wasn't on my Must See list but I had the chance to watch it for free so why not? I was hoping that maybe I'd like it more than I liked Jurassic Park but it felt like Deja Vu all over again.Starting out I was full of hope but as the movie went on I noticed I started losing attention.I had to rewind certain parts over & over again just to see what I missed. With about 30+ minutes left, I was ready to give up but I stuck it through because it almost over anyways.Just like with Jurassic Park I was BORED out of my …

I actually hated that movie. I will admit that Chris Pratt basically made the movie, but the plot seemed too close to the original. I had hoped they would do a better job, but I was disappointed.

Easily my favourite of the franchise since the first film, although admittedly, the first film will always remain my favourite.

Yes agreed this the best movie from this year. So basically, “Jurassic World” is a big-budget indictment of corporate
greed, jammed with product placement for Samsung and Mercedes-Benz and
Beats by Dre and Coca-Cola. But given the record-shattering opening the
movie had, I’d say everyone involved had their cake, ate it too and went
back for seconds.Jurassic WorldTop Movie List

Agreed. I'm glad the movie was as good as it was at all which is what I thought people were most concerned about in the first place.
