Vampires Suck didn't suck as bad as I thought it would. It was an OK spoof movie.I'm not into the Twilight series, Never seen 1 of them & never will so I guess theres a bunch of jokes in this 1 I missed out on.It had some funny moments here & there but not that many

Not that great - BUT is awesome for skewering Twilight, which is ridiculous and much worse.

Vampires Suck review

Twilight haters, this flick is definitely for you. Edward Sullen (Matt Lanter) befriends newcomer Becca Crane (Jenn Proske). The subtle gestures were captured by the artists who tried to spoof the characters of Twilight. If only the humor were more mature instead of childish. There were a few laughable sequences, minor ones at that if you dare bared to watch the Twilight films. Soundtrack and gimmicks very modern. It surprisingly did well on the box office, which means there were more who disliked the Twilight flicks. Vampires Suck seemed idiotic, moronic and just plain bored. For those who dreaded the franchise, there is a glimmer of hope you are going to snicker and smile even for a short while at how ludicrous the original pictures were.

Just what i expected it to be...hilarious...

The story is about a young high school student Becca Crane, who is torn between 2 boys - a vampire and a childhood friend when she moves to Sporks to live with her father Sheriff Frank (Diedrich Bader). Sounds familiar….well it is not the infamous Twilight that you’re no doubt familiar with unless you’ve been living on the moon these past few years but instead a spoof of the popular "Twilight" saga.

Having seen the Twilight films myself I was intrigued to see how much detail would go into making it look as similar as possible. And it is really well done with the costumes, set design and characters, particularly Jenn Proske (in her debut film) who absolutely nailed the "Bella" character, right down to her awkward twitches and lovelorn stares - I was in tears of laughter during every sce...

Sploich Reviews Vampires Suck (2010)

For a decade now, Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg have been plaguing our cinemas with the epitome of terrible films. Titles such as Scary Movie and Meet the Spartans have shown us that to some people the word "parody" has Stretch Armstrong-like abilities and can be affiliated with just about anything as long as there is some sort of semblance to a joke or reference that comments on popular culture, movies or television. I could go on for quite some time about all the reasons Seltzer and Friedberg don't seem to understand what is and is not funny, but I've done that enough for their other films over the years and frankly this one doesn't even deserve as much punishment.

Don't get me wrong: This is a terrible movie. Almost every line of dialogue is a reference to a television show or a...

Movie God
From viewing the trailer, this movie looks to be set with dead aim at the Twilight series.  However, nothing in it was funny.  I feel this movie is a step in the right direction, for the writing/directing duo of Friedberg and Seltzer, but it will lack significantly in the laugh department just like their other films.  It's a shame someone else didn't parody these movies.  Shitty movies deserve a spoofing of the highest degree!
