Roger (Christopher Walken) is a security guard who enjoys staring at a certain painting namely The Lonely Maiden. he meets art admirers Charles (Morgan Freeman) and George (William H. Macy). The pacing and light screenplay ruins the picture despite the hilarious scenes with the leads and apt soundtrack. Not enough scenes for Marcia Gay Harden and Morgan Freeman. Funniest parts belonged to William H. Macy and Christopher Walken. It was baffling how Roger persuaded the guy from the airport and the one driving the van where a naked George panics at the back. Nevertheless, The Maiden Heist had a few laughs despite a few unrealistic characters.

The Maiden Heist is a fun cute movie that did make me laugh. The story was a bit slow, but the movie was still enjoyable. The acting is good as you can expect. Maricia Gay Harden and Christopher Walken are a surprisingly cute couple. William H. Macy steals most of the scenes he is in.
