Tries too hard to be sappy, but some moments are effective and those visuals are something to see. An imaginative look at the possible afterlife.

What Dreams May Come review

A spectacular film with some humor, believable drama and incredible premise. Chris Nielsen (Robin Williams) marries Annie Collins (Annabella Sciorra) and bears 2 children. He gets into an accident awakes in heaven. There he meets Albert (Cuba Gooding Jr.) which becomes his guide. Annie commits suicide and is brought to hell. Chris tries to rescue her. Some lines from the film: Chris - "That's when I realized I'm part of the problem. Not because I remind you. But because I couldn't join you. So I left you alone. Don't give up, okay?" "God, you were my life. I apologize for everytime I ever failed you." Annie - "Sometimes, when you lose, you win." Albert - "The real Hell is your life gone wrong." The gorgeous effects and cinematography was very noticeable, if only the pacing and …
