Red Pollard (Tobey Maguire), Charles S. Howard (Jeff Bridges), and Tom Smith (Chris Cooper) all do their part to make a champion out of the horse Seabiscuit. Pace was a bit sluggish with lacks that certain spark to keep each story of the main leads interesting. Score, screenplay, editing, cinematography and performances were amazing. Best line was from Red - "You know, everyone thinks we got this broken down horse and fixed him, but we didn't. He fixed us. Every one of us. And I guess in a way, we fixed each other, too." Seabiscuit is one of the best inspirational drama's you can find. "You don't throw a whole life away just 'cause he's banged up a little bit." A nice flick to watch when your feeling down.

Another in the long line of 'inspirational, based on a true story' films. It's on par with this type of movie. Good for what it is, but nothing special.

The way this movie methodically fleshes out the characters whose lives intersect drives the film forward to its inspirational conclusion. Definitely an above average sports film with fantastic performances from everyone.

It was a very touching, inspirational story. The little bits of info that's given about each character is what makes this movie good.

Wow, could a horse movie be even more boring. I understand they have been horse racing for along time, but they wonder why no one follows it after a triple crown winner is not possible. I would say stay away, but you should try it.
