Turning the Santa Claus story on its head, this is a charming and heartwarming classic Christmas film - with some very genial acting from Tim Allen in one of his last great roles. Sadly, it spawned a number of lifeless sequels.

this movie is a very funny movie.its very fun to watch with the family.you will prollbablly enjoy it and get a few humarious laughs in . i liked this movie alot. one of my favorite Christmas movies to date.

This is one of the most underappreciated Christmas films. I absolutely loved yet. Maybe it doesn't quite stack up to classics like A Christmas Story or Christmas Vacation, but this film is smart, sweet and heart warming... everything a good Christmas film should be. You should make this part of your holiday must see list!!

A Christmas film with its heart in the right place, but it doesn't hold a candle to the Christmas classics. Allen is a good fit for the jolly fat man - his transformation is pretty hilarious. For me, it just can't quite capture the magic.
