I think that this may actually be one of the best movies made by Disney in a while. I mean the more recent movies by Diseny are ok, but this one was over the top. I absolutely loved it becasue it combines two of my favorite things in the world, cooking and Paris. I was actually one of the few Disney movies that I actually watched an my own and wanted to watch again!

An enjoyable flick, mainly because I like Paris and rats, I mean food. I didn't think it was that bad, but The Incredibles was still way better.

One of Pixars better recent movies. I love Pixar and most of their movies but I have to say that this is one of the better ones. When I think back I would have to say that I liked it better than Nemo and Cars. Who knew it was going to be so easy to fall it love with a rat!

In all honesty this was the first animated Disney movie that I actually enjoyed watching and wanted to watch again. After being forced to watch it with my sister i must say i was quite surprised. It maybe that i enjoy cooking and at one point wanted to be a chef, but its pretty clever the way they did it. I first thought it was going to be just another child animated movie. The movie kept me somewhat hooked wondering what will happen to the rat or Linguine. I was just a bit upset at the end, how all those rats were in the kitchen cooking?!! But overall nice idea and well put together

I hate this movie. I love animated films and this was a huge disappointment. The movie is rated G and you need to be under the age of 12 to enjoy the humor in this film. I wanted to kill the main character 30 minutes in.

While The Incredibles is still my top Pixar film, Brad Bird once again helms another excellent animated film. I never thought anyone could make rats look good, but he succeeds. Makes up for the disappointing Cars.

Another strong outing from Pixar. While the story sounds strange (a rat helps a cook make a name for himself), the movie surprisingly works due to appealing characters and outstanding animation. With each new outing Pixar continues to amaze me with what they are able to come up with. Ranking Pixar's movies is fairly difficult to do as they are all strong, but it's easy to see why this is one of the top rated films of the year.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this movie to everyone. Its a must have in your DVD collection. I did not see it previously at a theater, but reading many reviews, I was sold. I bought the DVD hoping everyone was right. This movie is just not for little kids. It is for everyone. The story seems thin, but it has many twists and turns. I loved it! It was a nice clean movie that anyone can enjoy. So if you can fork over $20...go get it. You won't regret it. (Hey, it rhymed!)

Why not - wrote on 07/26/2007

Looking for a movie that both the kids and you can enjoy is a task in itself. The kids really enjoyed the movie. The movie offered laughs and a some what captivating story line throughout the movie. If one is looking for a movie that the kids can watch and still keep the parents entertained I would recomend Ratatouille. Is it a movie I would go to as an adult on a date or by myself, probably not. There are to many other movies out that an adult would rather spend $40.00 (tickets, popcorn, etc, etc,) All in all I didn't find the movie all that bad (kind of cute)

It is not a bad movie - merely average. But, for Pixar, it is the worst one since Bugs Life? While the most original story to date for Pixar, the subject matter is terrible. This is why they don't make movies about cooks. Yawn...
