Rambo is back with his guns and bow and saying that sounds epic. This movie was written by James Cameron and I found out that Mr. Cameron wrote aliens and this movie back to back. Silly but cool action scenes with a lot of silly to in enjoy.

Sly humourlessly butchers half of Vietnam in a risible homo-erotic test fest. Imagine an ultra-violent po-faced episode of the A-Team but with less complexity or depth.

There really isn't much to this sequel, which amps up the action sequences in lieu of further developing the tormented character of Rambo. Character purists will probably dislike alot of the hammy, expositional dialogue for this reason,but there's not denying that the action sequences are fast, furious, and entertaining.

This sequel takes Rambo back into the jungle with his familiar foes from war and amps up the action to a higher level of explosiveness. While he may be fighting against the Asians, the real enemy is on his own side. There is still some inner complexities to Rambo, but most is pushed over in favor for the BIG action. Changes in character and story from the first film aside, it's still a great action movie that holds up today and is fun to watch and cheer on Rambo.
