Featuring plenty of great performances and one of the most unlikable antagonists in cinema, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" is an unlikely masterpiece about the human condition.

Overrated but equally memorable movie, the one that defined Milos Forman's talent in the US, and the one that accentuated Nicholson's terrific abilities to pull off unusual leading performances. A wonderful ensemble cast in its early years increase the power of One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest to an even higher degree. Undeniable classic. 92/100

The story is about a man who may not really be insane is admitted to an institution. He plays tricks on the nurse and rounds up the other trouble patients for a healthy dose of fun. Jack Nicholson in this film was brilliant and the all film is crazy but so full of joy until the end comes and if you have seen the film you know what I mean.

Jack Nicholson was amazing! This movie is very good. It has light humor and a dramatic ending. I really liked it. I don't know what else to say except it was good. I'd recommend

In a fairly faithful adaptation of Ken Kesey's novel, Jack Nicholson leads the charge for a discovery of self within a stringent mental institution The film is wonderfully life affirming, while also still clinging to the tragic air of the novel. Nicholson's persona finds the right line between totally unhinged and courageous and the film's heart lies with his performance.

A fun and crazy movie. Definitely one of the saddest endings ever.

Jack Nicholson's finest performance in an intelligent, touching and ultimately tragic tale of a petty criminal trying to evade prison by feigning insanity. A classic.

An intelligent, funny and somewhat emotional drama. All of the actors are superb and each creates a memorable character. There are many great scenes here. I absolutely enjoyed it.

Best ensemble cast ever. Danny DeVito and Christopher Lloyd went on to TV and movie stardom. Scatman Crothers, William Redfield and other veterans got a showcase. Jack Nicholson had a field day as R.P. McMurphy. And whatever happened to Brad Dourif?
