Another ordinary movie that got over rated by everyone I know that saw it. Don't get me wrong it was an OK movie but nothing great. I enjoyed 30 days of night much more than this.

good production values. excellent. coolest part is nyc after people. awesome stuff. vamps look cool to. the horrific problem. kind of bleak. too bleak. and for me to say that is something since I'm so damn bleak. DONT KILL THE DOG! why did the doc have to die? jeez man, it's just a fantasy flick couldn't they have all gotten away at the end and wound up in the safe zone. doc, dog, woman, kid. man is it that important to stick to the book or play slave to character? the doc has to pay for his sins? well he can do it by saving everyone also. at least I repeat DONT KILL THE DOG give the dog to the kid. man that shi@%@% bummed me out.

This movie could be compared to many different ones. It was entertaining and pretty decent.

The CGI wasn't the greatest, but the story and script was amazing and the bonding of Neville and Sam with the audience is nigh perfect. This movie had me weeping at a particular scene. This movie is very emotional. I've seen people compare it to 28 Days Later and quite frankly that movie was ruined by it's second half. This movie was fantastic on the other hand. Much better than 28 Days Later.

I like this genre so I enjoyed Legend. I thought 28 Days had more action and was more raw. I thought the weakest part of the movie was the suprisingly shity CGI work.

I was so excited about seeing this movie, there were so many people in line, and I just knew it was going to be good. Well, I was very disapointed. I saw Omega Man when I was a kid, I didn't really like that movie either, but a big difference was the diseased people. They weren't supossed to be like vampires, they were albino and sensitive to sun, but they did eat people (because they blamed them for the disease). And they talked to the main character. In Legend the people were more like rabid animals and I really didn't like that. Other than the creatures, the movie had some exciting parts, but it really jumped around from thing to thing. I really didn't think it flowed that well.

I liked the movie, but didn't love it. I agree the CG vampire people were dissapointing. I thought Will Smith did a good job pulling off this character.

This was a best movie I saw in 2007. Will Smith does a great job in this movie and really pulls you in. Most of the movie is just him and his dog so you know how much presents he has to have. This movie was not happy or fun or something I would rush out to see again, in fact I don't know if I would ever see it again. It's like Schindler's List, once is enough. Although it was a great movie It was so depressing. I found myself crying in the car as we left the theater. Suggestion: find a fun or happy movie to watch after you've seen this one.

Will Smith is pretty good in this movie...but that's about all I liked about it. The story is about how Smith is the "last man" in New York after a devastating virus turns people into monsters or rabies people or something - they're never really clear about that. And they apparently can only come out at night and only attack living people, not each other. Oh yeah, Smith still has running water, somehow. Anyway, the story could have been a lot better as it never really explains how things got the way they are or why people are now acting the way they do. Apparently you're just supposed to accept it all. At least there was a trailer for The Dark Knight before it started.

I read the book before watching the movie and was glad I did. The book in its original interpretation would not have been well suited for the big screen. I thought it was adapted well from Richard Matheson novel. We have definitely seen plots like this in the past, "28 days later" comes to mind but still was done very originally. I thought Will Smith did good job acting with out any supporting cast, beside the dog. It could have used about 20-30 minutes more in the middle to transition from beginning to the climax. Overall, I would recommend seeing this on the big screen, the detail of the abandoned city is amazing. I saw it on the DLP HD projector, and the picture was brilliant.
