This is a well-crafted story with a very emotional story at its core. The cast is excellent, especially Demi Moore. The special effects are dated, and the big emotional goodbye at the end is a bit over the top, but it is certainly still worth watching. As always, I monitored the film for tobacco use. The good news? No characters were scene using tobacco! The bad news? There is a scene in which a cigarette machine is smashed open, spilling four different identifiable brands of cigarettes on a subwya platform: Taryton, Pall Mall, Malibu, and Carlton. Can you say "product placement"? The film scene earned the film a SmokeScreeners Rating of 1 Butt! http://tinyurl.com/njm8ke

Funny and romantic. The chemistry between Moore and Swayze is electric. Goldberg is hysterical. One of the all time great chick flicks.

Many people I talked to about this movie thought it was soppy and too romantic, but I thought it has the perfect mix of romance, humor and drama. Add great acting, and this is a totally enjoyable movie. The only aspect of this movie I didn't like was the fact that Patrick Swayze starred. He annoys me.

A very unique plot line, excellent cast that each expertly deliver their roles you are quickly bonded with every character and understand the emotions between them. Great movie had me weeping by the end.

Even though most romance films turn me off, I think this one is actually pretty good. The plot is well thought out and the chemistry between the actors is good. The supporting cast (even Whoopi) make the film work. A worthy effort.

One of the better love stories out there. Whoopi is annoying like usual but for the most part it is a good movie.

A great romance story for both men and women. It is original, well acted, well told, and a great performance by Goldberg. Most of you have seen it, but if not, then see it on a date or by yourself. It still works.
