"The Game" makes the most of its intriguing premise that's as boundlessly unpredictable as the fictional company at the movie's center.

David Fincher's high concept psychological thriller boasts superb atmosphere and an impending sense of dread. Even when the plot turns increasingly ludicrous and sometimes confusing, the committed performance by Michael Douglas keeps you interested.

The Game is an interesting and paranoid thriller, one in which the rules keep changing with each scene. Despite the many twist endings, the film never seems like it's trying too hard and the twists and turns come naturally and are genuinely surprising. An underrated Fincher gem.

I've seen this several times and it still interests me even though I know what's coming. Interesting concept, played well overall.

A very intriguing mystery, with a twist you won't be able to guess. Perfectly paced and riveting to watch unfold.

Terribly underappreciated. Yes, you have to suspend logic for 2 hours and I'm not quite sure what the film has to say morally, but it is a fun, twisty diversion.

I liked this movie a lot. There certainly were plenty of plot twists. And, they made sense in the movie.

Decently original, but I wasn't terribly crazy about it.

A "One Watch Wonder," I define this as any movie that reveals what's going on at the end of the film that basically makes it virtually impossible to rewatch. Some films that fall into this category demand a rewatch, so that you can see if the ending works through out the film, which makes it that much more satisfying, but this isn't one of them. A "One Watch Wonder" is by no means a bad film, most of them are quite brilliant actually. For this particular film, the ending is so unexpected that it makes it all that much more enjoyable. If you love films that make you think and wonder how it'll end, this movie is definitely for you.

It loses its steam once you know what's going on, but David Fincher knows how to craft a story, and this one will leave you reeling that first time through. A great performance by Michael Douglas helps elevate this dark, moody thriller.
