Unemployed and broke, Gaz needs to find a way to pay child support so his ex-wife will let him see his son. Gaz cooks up a scheme with some other out-of-work and down-on-their-luck guys to raise money by stripping. Untalented and very average-looking, these guys make for an unlikely Chippendale troop. This movie has funny writing and the movie knows what it is and it shows it off.

A surprisingly sweet comedy. The characters are likable and you generally want to see them succeed. There's a slight endearing quality to these jobless guys striving to regain a feeling of self worth. Funny, upbeat little gem.

Not only is this comedy unique and very funny, but it's also touching in the way it treats its characters. Each group of the ensemble has a unique personality and director Cattaneo does a great job of connecting his characters to the audience, emotionally.

A very good English comedy. If you're into that kind of British humour, this is for you. The performances are all top-notch and the story is interesting. Not even the male nudity could stop me from enjoying it.

This is such a funny English comedy, I've worn out my tape watching it. The characters are charming, funny and endearing screw-ups with a way-out-there idea to make money. My husband didn't "get it" until he watched it again with the subtitles on. If you don't understand English accents or are unfamiliar with English phrases, I highly recommend you watch it this way too.
