Sarah Michelle Gellar plays one of the sexiest 90s movie villains and is the highlight of this trashy teen flick.

Yes, it is a bit, or alot cheesy but i don't care. This is one of the few movies on my top movies list that I would call a guilty pleasure. If you don't like people acting in a cruel way, as the title suggests, this is not the movie for you. If you do enjoy that in a movie, then watch this guilty pleasure. Even though it's not a comedy there are some really funny lines.

On paper this film sounds like garbage, but after watching it, it surprisingly holds up and has a lot of really good things going for it. It's not a great film; there are many flaws with it, but it really is a solid little film in my opinion. The three main actors carry the film nicely. Sarah Michelle Gellar is the weakest link, but is still very convincing as the bitch. I even thought the writing was okay. I liked the pacing, the film is only 90 minutes, but I feel like a lot happens in such a short time frame. Well-done film, considering its subject material and characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this film and I cannot recommend it enough.

The actors all flash charisma, particularly Philippe, but the sharp script is more hit or miss, bouncing between original moments and more tired romantic cliches. I liked a lot of it, mostly because of the cast, but I wanted it to be more.

This is one of those films that gets you made. It's very easy to get involved in.

Loved this movie. Loved the characters. As equally good as Dangerous Liasons. Smart dialogue. Sexy scenes. One of my favorite movies.

This was smart, sexy, and funny. This is a very old story will a lot of different adaptations. I have actually read the original French version of Liason Dangereux and watched the version with Glenn Close and John Malcovich, and a very young Uma Therman. It's hard to compare the two. While its the same story they are portrayed very differently. What I will say about this one though is that Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe were brilliant together. The acting in this movie was superb. A very talented cast combined with a great story line and great script never go wrong.

This is definitely one of my favorite teen movies of the late 90's. My friend and I initially watched it because of Sarah Michelle Gellar (huge Buffy fans). But after watching the film, it became an instant classic. Okay, it's not Oscar worthy, but Sebastion and Kathryn are so incredibly wicked and are very entertaining to watch. Some of my favorite moments include: "The black man is gone! The black man is gone! Praise Jesus, the black man is gone!" and "You're just a toy Sebastion. A little toy I like to play with" Ah, yes good times.

This a smart, sexy drama. The sparks fly between the actors, helped by some razor-sharp dialog. The romance feels a bit contrived, but in the end, this is a sinful guilty pleasure that should be enjoyed at least once.
