A movie that I didn't think was going to be good but I was so wrong.

I couldn't believe how much I was into the movie because I was only expecting a live action Rock Em Sock Em Robots flick.I was loving every minute & way into it up until the part where the kid started dancing with the robot on his way to the ring.In my opinion, It was just way to corny & overdone. If they could've left it out then the movie would've been perfect. It just spoiled it for me & If you can get past it like I couldn't then I think you'll really enjoy Real Steel.Like alot of reviews I read, Kids will enjoy this movie most of all

Every actor does one, a bad movie. Which in my opinion is basically like a hot guy or girl have sex with somebody because of the way the look, it's called pitty sex. Real Steel was Hugh Jackman's pitty sex the story was good, oh no wait that was the game, u know it want it is remember rock-em sock-em robots ya that this movie its not good. The only thing I liked was evanginlene Lilly from lost, that acting wasn't bad. It's didn't make up for anything else self.

I'll admit, when I saw the trailer to this film, it looked like a cheesy Rock-em Sock-em Robots rip-off. Instead, it's a gritty and triumphant coming of age story, set against a futuristic boxing league. Of course, the film doesn't deviate much from the standard sports movie moments, but the futuristic setting is a unique change and, like so many films it emulates, it still manages to tug on the heartstrings at the right moments. Plus that robotic dance entry was so awesome.

Set in a future time, where robots are get into the sports of boxing, a boxer himself Charlie Kenton (Hugh Jackman) will do something which will reconnect himself to his- he once abandoned and sold- son. *** Wow! This film is awesome. I have never doubt Jackman's performance, but it is Dakota Goyo kept me watching this. I think, the first half of this film was a bit boring, I was expecting something big to happen, but nothing did, until Atom came into the scene, "shadowing" Max. That particular scene started all the awesomeness, fun, and excitement the film has. This is a very good one. An action with very effective drama injected on it.

Boxing movie pieced together from different parts of other movies. It's main inspiration is obviously 'Rocky'. The fights were inventive and entertaining enough that I didn't find the heavily cliched story and characters annoying.
