This is by far a brilliant film that not only tells you an amazing tale but I know it enlightened me to a few horrific truths. Makes you wonder about things we take for granted... where exactly did they come from. What are their roots. Outstanding performances by all cast members here. Leo shows his amazing abilities with near flawless accents. The guy just continues to improve upon perfection. This isn't the first time he made me weep and it won't be the last the guy is just an Acting God. I actually thought this should have won over The Departed.

Leo should stop it with the accents. He can't do it. I hated this film. It was just not compelling. Yuck.

Good performances by Honunsou, DiCaprio and Connelly, though Dicaprio's accent was not very convincing. Some of the scenes seemed a bit forced with the mellow drama leading up to the gun fights but all-in-all a good film. It really did a good job portraying how everyone fits into the equation in fueling the war in Africa.

With an Edward Zwick picture, you know you are going to get a good movie, nothing spectacular, but good. This is the same. I was a little worried about Leo's accent, but he does a great job covering it up. He teams with Hounsou wonderfully.
