Continuing where they left off, two police detectives follow a trail of Ecstasy into Florida as they try to stop the flow. With more responsibility than in the past, they must be careful to maintain their home lives as well as solve the mystery. This movie was a action pack thriller ride that I was entertained from the start till the finish.

I think this is better than the first. Possibly because I went in with no expectations. When you see it on TNT; go ahead and flip to it during commercial breaks of Dancing with the Stars.

Not as much fun as the barely-fun first film. Here, Bay goes for the over-the-top meanspirited and offensive gag and blows more stuff up in lieu of having an actual meaningful plot. I detested this movie, really.

Not as good as the first but still a good movie. Will Smith and Martin Smith are a great comedy team.

Though Smith and Lawrence connect better in this film, it still felt like this was a wholly unnecessary sequel. This one also seems to fall back on comedy a little too much for my taste.

An unnecessary sequel that is very similar to the first one, though does not flow as well. It was more funny at times with Lawrence and Smith teaming up again to make a decent comedy. See it only if you are a fan of the original.
