I honestly haven't got anything funny to say about this, kind of the mindset of the writers had for this movie.

Orlando "Brad" McVie (Vince Vaughn) and girlfriend Kate (Reese Witherspoon) accidentally spends time with their families. They visit Brad's father (Robert Duvall), then Kate's mother (Mary Steenburgen), and then Brad's mother (Sissy Spacek) and, Kate's father (Jon Voight). Vince Vaughn reunites with his co-cast in Swingers and does most of the comedy. Had a few impossible scenes such as the kids bullying and teasing Kate, Brad falling of without any injury from the roof, and the like. The soundtrack was decent and screenplay could have been better toward the end of the film. Four Christmases is a fun holiday film to watch for those who spend time with their family and strengthen your relationship as a couple.

The concept for this movie is has an interesting hook, but sadly the story is really underdeveloped. It may have worked better if it was just 2 families rather than 4, but a lot of this movie felt rushed. It's great to see actors such as Robert Duvall, Mary Steenburgen, Sissy Spacek, and Jon Voight as the parents, but the movie ends surprisingly early. It could have been pretty memorable but at the most it ends up being average.

I do have to admit, it was slightly better than what I thought it was going to be. But, it still wasn't all that great.

Out of all the newer holiday films I think this one is the best. It is a fun film that will keep you laughing untill the end. The cast works well together and the film has a pretty good message behind it. I wish all the other new holiday directors would take after Seth Gordon.

I was disappointed. It had the perfect combination. Vaughn, Favreau and a great concept. Vaughn was really funny as always but that didn't make up for the dramatized actions that were just too far away from real. Maybe next time.

Probably the worst movie I've seen this year. I felt very very sleepy the first minute in. Vince Vaughn's comedic talent just went on a downward spiral because none of his jokes worked. I guess it would've been funnier if there was a drum roll every joke delivered. Reese on the other hand was just plain boring with the capital B. I missed the old formula for Christmas movies cause this one’s definitely not it...
