This movie was hilarious and heartfelt. That's just the way it is.

A comedy with very dry humor which I will admit does not make me laugh. But the characters were good and well acted enough that I can say if you like this type of film with dry humor you will probably like this movie. The only time it goes out of it is near the end with a scene with something where you say I didn't need to see that.

An inspiring, wonderful movie. I put off seeing it, because it was so overhyped. But for good reason! It got me more into wine and challenged me to seek out the crazier types. I'm glad Paul Giamatti hit it big, because I was a fan for years. Yes, I'm weird like that.

I love so much red wine... aah. Oh! And Giamatti too! What happened in this movie? I don't know. Maybe it's me. I find it pointless and ultraoverrated.

I didn't exactly know what to expect of this movie. When I watched it I had only seen the previews a couple times and I had avoided the reviews like the plague. This a film that I can get into on certain nights, it has its moments and I really enjoy the interaction between Thomas Hayden Church and Paul Giamatti. This is the kind of film that I like watching when I feel like watching something that would normally be a lesser known title. This is truly a film festival style movie that made its way into the main stream, and while the critics loved it (I read them after I watched the movie) most people that were expecting more humor, were let down. The comedy is very dry in this for the most part, but it is a well made film. I enjoyed it.

t almost had me, but it was too hyped up by all the experts that it was such a fantastic film and what they meant to say was this "A surprise hit, that has great acting by all involved. The subject matter is fresh, but nothing too great."

A bit dull for my taste. I like Paul Giamatti and Thomas Church's acting and characters a lot which helped when the dialog was slow.
