This speculative sci-fi thriller is completely bonkers but it goes for it. The early '90s cgi is horrendous but fits the over-the-top tone of the movie. Jeff Fahey is believable as a simpleton turned supergenius. Pierce Brosnan is odd casting as a mad scientist though. I didn't quite always buy it.

Dated sci-fi that attracted interest at the time for it's advanced visuals, which inevitably look rather rubbish now.

Tries to be a sci-fi/action hybrid, but it's painfully dull and extremely slow. You can find much better, so do yourself a favor and skip this one.
