Solid sequel to the death-defying original chiller. An opening car pile-up on the highway is a harrowing set piece and the kills are still creative if gruesome. Some of the cast members act a bit like caricatures instead of characters. But they still are amusing. The lead girl A.J. Cook is not a very good actress though. It was a breath of fresh air to see Ali Larter return.

This movie has some really cool deaths and to be honest I don't think this movie is terrible, I actually enjoyed this movie.

A bloodier, bolder, more imaginative sequel. Out of the three that's been released, I think this is the strongest one because it manages to relate to the first one quite a few times. Not to mention the return of Ali Larter was quite a delight because she wasn't the weak and meek character we got to know in the first installment. I dislike films that have too many yet unnecessary twists and turns but I think the "Final Destination" franchise thrives on that. In the last twenty minutes, I was at the edge of my seat because somehow I managed to care for the characters, which is highly unlikely in most horror films. There are a plethora of highlights in this movie, especially the freeway carnage. The first time I saw that scene, I was covered in blankets and completely shaken. This film's …
