I really wanted this movie to be good.

I am a major fan of vampire stories and the supernatural in general. The lead actor is very pretty, but the movie doesn't make me care about her or any other character in it for that matter. Dr Mangler played by Clint Howard was driving me crazy, and his performance alone took a star off my rating. I really wanted to like this movie but I just couldn't. The love scenes were well directed but that alone was not enough to carry the rest of the movie. Apart from Dr Mangler the acting was allright, well at least average. There is something that I can't put my finger on, everything about this movie that make me simply not care what happens to the characters, and it fail to get me involved in the story.
