I can honestly say that I saw this movie about 50 times between 1996 and 1997. My freshman year of college and I had acquired this film on one of my last days of working for Blockbuster. I thought it was great. The thing about this movie is that the ideas behind it are timeless. There is always going to be someone that gets picked on in high school for being the fat kid. This is the movie about Angus Bethume, he is the fat kid that desires the hottest and most popular girl in his school. She happens to be going out with his mortal enemy the kid that has razzed him about his weight ever since grade school played by James (Mr Dawson's Creek himself) Vanderbeek, although this film was 2 years before DC.
