The story follows multiple heroes individually, covering separate events that culminate in their inevitable team-up to save Earth from a giant alien attack. Also amidst the intertwining plot are brief origins of Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter. Everything flows well. The piece serves as a bridge between the 'Golden' and 'Silver' age of comics. It does give the feeling of passing to the next time era. Great visuals, and some subtextual adult themes are nice additions. Better than expected.

I really was expecting to watch a Justice League kiddie cartoon but this was most definitely not a kiddie cartoon.I also expected to watch it just to be watching but it blew my mind how awesome Justice League: The New Frontier turned out to be.The story was great. It had way more then enough to keep me interested from beginning to end & I especially loved the old school vibe. This is an animated movie I'd recommend watching

It’s appropriate the film (not counting the pre-credit sequence) opens with Jordan, because he more than any other character is asked to carry the film.

The old heroes are gone. The Justice Society of America has been forced into retirement and only a few heroes like Batman (Jeremy Sisto), Wonder Woman (Lucy Lawless), and Superman (Kyle MacLachlan) remain active. But the Silver Age is about to begin…

As the world becomes threatened by a mysterious entity known only as “The Centre” (Keith David), the U.S. Government will have to put aside its worries and prejudices. And a new breed of heroes will appe...
