This might be a little slow for some viewers, but the plot is inventive and it's a marvel how much of a story can be told through carefully plotted still images. You can definitely see the influence on films like Twelve Monkeys and Dark City here.

Beautiful black and white masterpiece. If you've seen 12 Monkeys, this is the original. See it and weep. This is much better.
