In addition to being filled with the comedic genius that makes the show so iconic, it's refreshing plot doesn't make it feel like an extended episode.

Although it doesn't touch the greatness of certain individual episodes of the show, The Simpsons Movie is consistently funny and exciting. It's a blast to see all the favorite characters united in one film and to see the show play with somewhat racier material than it's able to work with on primetime.

The Simpsons Movie review

A legendary TV show with a large number of global followers. Who doesn’t know the family? The beer drinking, donut eating klutz named Homer? A sweet wife named Marge? The jazz oriented genius of the family, Lisa? The troublesome kid who fights with his dad a lot, Bart? The cute, silent but affectionate Maggie? In the television series there are numerous characters of The Simpsons like Apu, Ned Flanders, Nelson, comic book nerd, etc. I felt like watching an extended show instead of a film because of the light plot and length. Some background figures weren’t given opportunities to shine. Though I was very entertained, something was missing. Maybe because I just wanted to see more. The Simpsons Movie- Always Great

The Simpsons Movie is going to be historical for many years to come. With a great story and a great sense of humor, the movie is a clear winner in the common man´s home.
It can be watched by anyone, anywhere and anyhow. It is a big 10 star!

It all starts during a Green Day- concert. When the band wants to talk about the enironment, the Springfieldians just want music. So they start throwing beer at the floating stage that the band uses. The pollution in the lake makes the stage sink into the water.
After that accident, mayor Quimby closes the lake, so no further pollution will continue.
But Homer won´t listen. He smashes through the wall and dumps a whole silo filled with pig dump.
And that does it. The goverment closes springfield and are planning to blow the whole city up, …

Shows how bad the series has gotten.

I was once a great Simpson fan but that ended when it reached about the 13th season where the shows downward spiral really took off. I think episodes from say the 4th season are some of the greatest comedy ever written but these current episodes are just terrible. First off a foolish plot lacking in clever or funny jokes. Not only that they for some reason have gone with a flawed plot, that gives little time to any characters that might even try to give off a laugh. Not only that it feels very much like those poorly made cartoon to movie movies, in terms of its structure and animation. One big problem I felt that ruined automatically was Homer was just too much of a jerk, in older episodes he would do things that were wrong but they were generally due to stupidity in this he does it on …
