This is one of the most powerful animated movies I've ever seen. It has strong characters, great music (save for that one song with Steve Martin and Martin Short....) and a new look on a familiar story.

Despite being an often pretty conventional retelling of a familiar tale, "Prince of Egypt" gives way to some astounding visuals for an animated film. Particularly, the parting of the Red Sea sequence is strikingly beautiful.

It comes off like an animated Disney version of the biblical tale. Way more entertaining than sitting in church.

Another tale of Moses that does not go hand in hand with the Bible. The only movie that does is , 'The Book of John', however, that's mainly word for word. But for an animation film, this was great. I don't believe scripture has Moses and Rameses ever being that chummy together, but its a good twist. The movie isn't a classic, but is under-rated. I'll consider it a must see for those who do not wish to study the Bible, and for those that do, like myself, just watch it for the music. If I have to go on and tell you about the plot....well then, welcome to Earth, population 6 Billion, ruler- God the Father.

i think that this is one of the most amazing movies that Dreamworks has ever made. it is so true and well done. the songs are absolutely to die for in this movie, they get stuck in your head for the rest of your life, trust me. this movie is entertaining and educational all at the same time. I love this movie!!!!!
